New Car Shipping Transports Ordered

Reports indicate that auto shipping firms and transport companies in general have been putting in orders for new Navistar International trucks and engines in the last quarter of 2010. Navistar International is reporting of late that orders for 2010 EPA-compliant trucks and engines are going up, and they have shipped about 7,000 trucks, since June. Navistar International is also indicating that momentum appears to be growing in the desire for firms to put in orders for new 2010 EPA-compliant transports and they expect to sell about 17,000 transport vehicles across North America by the end of 2010. At present, the firm indicates that their engine plants are putting out about 380 engines a day, and currently about 85 of these are MaxxForce 13 engines.

Transportation firms and owner operators that plan on using a new 2010 EPA-compliant transport to ship cars to destination in a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective manner in the months and years ahead in the century of the environment will be paying attention to this news. Navistar International is currently developing a 15-liter engine based on the Caterpillar C15 platform, called the MaxxForce 15, which is expected to provide some transport professionals with the extra power they need to get the job done. They also have been trying to introduce transport professionals in the United States with the possible benefits of their smaller displacement MaxxForce 13, over the higher displacement MaxxForce 15, during the past few months, and this does appear to be finding a car transporter or two that agrees.
